Making an effort to eat healthy food or to exercise or to live a healthy lifestyle should not be seen as a punishment or something that makes us suffer.

Going for sauna has been shown to offer benefits to heart and cardiovascular health.

The more frequently someone goes (2 or more times weekly) and the longer the time spent in the sauna (approx 15 - 20mins) the more the benefit.

Be careful though and listen to your unique body.

I have a friend who used to make fun of my advice and tell me I’m too much.

One night he almost died of a heart/blood pressure problem.

Always make an effort to get up at least each hour and stretch or move around.

We often take this for granted because there don’t seem to be any immediate negative effects. But they are there and are profound.

To those who believe life is short and should be enjoyed, I have a question for you.

If your child or mother got cancer or diabetes, would you advise them to continue to enjoy taking sugar and eating what they want or would you encourage them to stop sugar and eat healthier?
