Today, I announced Dr. Stephanie Burrage as Minnesota’s first Chief Equity Officer.
 
Dr. Burrage will use her expertise to advance equity and opportunity in communities across the state as we continue our work to make Minnesota the best state in the country to grow up in.

As Minnesota’s *first* Chief Equity Officer, Dr. Stephanie Burrage will lift up the voices of those who have been left out of government for far too long to create meaningful change and more equitable policies.
 
I look forward to partnering with her in this important work.

As the dad of a St. Paul student, I’m heartbroken for the Harding High School community and the family of a student who lost their life today. We have offered our full support and have been assured that the area is now secure.

We are deeply saddened with news of the death of a student at Harding High School in Saint Paul. We join in solidarity with the Harding and Saint Paul Public Schools communities and offer our full support as they deal with this tragedy.
