Labour will bring buses back into public control across the UK. As Oxfordshire Labour Oxfordshire Labour Councillors, we have secured the first step of this here locally, passing a motion to get the ball rolling and securing funding for a bus franchising feasibility study 🚌🌹

This sort of approach will transform the choices we have to get around right across the country. I know lots of people in smaller towns and villages who just don't have the option to get a bus - this changes everything.

The Tories have failed to tackle tax dodgers as our public services crumble.

Rachel Reeves will crack down on tax dodgers to fund more NHS hospital and dentist appointments, new scanners, and free breakfast clubs for all primary school pupils in England.

Following years of campaigning by our party and our movement, the Government is finally u-turning and dropping their opposition to creating a new offence to protect shopworkers from violence and abuse.

Oxfordshire’s Conservative candidates are billing themselves as “Local Conservatives” in the forthcoming local elections, with the national party at 20%–25% in the polls. The description is used in the ‘Statement of Persons Nominated’ for West Oxfordshire and Cherwell districts.

What an utterly brilliant way to present the 2023 sewage dumping data. Just enter you postcode. 👋👋👋

Deserving of an award me thinks.

Labour will shift power from Westminster to local communities across the country.

More control over your area. More growth across the country. More money in your pocket.

Great to talk with neighbours on Madley about issues such as traffic and potholes. Good to share news about the footpath being surfaced to town!

Great talking to neighbours on New Bridge Street today. We need a safer crossing and footpath to town from here. Plus I always worry about the ditch - they say it’s safe but it looks either biodiverse or just stagnant!

Cutting of highway grass verges in Oxford will double to twice a year following residents' feedback. The exceptions will be eight 'no mow' pilot locations where biodiversity increased. Communal gardens (council housing) will continue to be cut 1/3
