Recording Wait Til I Get Over was more than making songs to me. With this project I got to unpack so much trauma that was holding me back. It’s wild to say, but I feel changed through this process, and I know that this transformation is still on going. It’s a beautiful thing.

Wait Til I Get Over comes out Friday, May 5, 2023 . A homage to the rural south, it is also a ‘letter to my 17 year old self.’ I almost called it that. I wanted to make a record that, that nerdy 17 year old dude would love.
