It scapegoats and dehumanises the most vulnerable people - disproportionately people of colour - nurturing the conditions for racism.

It is a terrible indictment of our political system that it has passed.

It’s pretty scary to see how colleagues in the migration sector and solicitors supporting people seeking asylum are targeted by those in power with no shame. The level of authoritarian narratives is so concerning.
