Contacted an indie bookstore in Texas. Won’t say who. They “encourage” independent author book signings. 2 hours for $299. Or 4 hours for $499 and they will advertise via email. Is it me, or is that a bit predatory? As a comparison, Barnes & Noble doesn’t charge indie authors.

I can write a novel. I can write a trilogy.

I cannot write a blurb.

Ugh. My lack of dental care from my childhood has caught up to me once again. I had to do an extraction and now I have dry socket. Why isn't dental care part of medical insurance? I really would like to know.

This book is exactly why you need to give indie authors a chance. Such a twisty dark and violent take on Santa Claus and I'm here for it.

It's a bit rough around the edges, but the story, worldbuilding, and characters are worth it.
