I must say that under Puja Patel’s leadership Pitchfork has expanded its vision in so many ways to become the kind of truly expansive site that can survey the atomized world of popular music. And it’s given us some of the best critics. All love to those who are doing that work.

I was arrested today at a protest in LA that closed down the 110 freeway at rush hour to demand a ceasefire in Gaza and an end to U.S. complicity in Israel's crimes against Palestinians.

Thinking about this in union terms—is there any other event that could kill dozens of people in your profession without having unions in that field call for it to stop? Media unions need to demand a ceasefire.
