This is a death march. It’s estimated that the average Palestinian is only eating ~230 calories per day. Rafah to Jabalia is 22 miles! If Palestinians do not die from bombs they’re at risk of dying from hunger, thirst, exhaustion and illness. This is unbelievably inhumane.

The situation is critical, the whole Gaza Strip is under extreme bombings since hours

And not just that, the tens of thousands of civilians who evacuated from Rafah to the middle areas of the Gaza Strip are now under attack

No one is safe and no one can hide...

Was just placed under arrest while wearing my press credential while covering the march on the Manhattan Bridge

The supervising officer told me “even though you’re press you’re not allowed to be on the bridge, you’re under arrest”

I was later released

NOW: Hundreds of protestors arrested after crossing the Manhattan Bridge.

NYPD met them from the other side and loaded them into corrections busses.

BREAKING: Massive protest is taking place at UC Berkeley’s graduation. Started with small groups of protestors holding Palestinian flags, but has quickly grown to hundreds. This section is just the protestors.

two years ago, israeli forces killed journalist shireen abu akleh & no one was held accountable for her murder

since then, i’ve been haunted by this image of israeli soldiers assaulting mourners at shireen’s funeral. i think it’ll stay with me forever

it was long before oct 7th

It must be that complicated history that makes it a war crime when Russia does it but not when Israel does it.

in 2022, hillary clinton condemned russia for bombing a hospital & called it a war crime

in 2023/24, she has looked away as israel bombed every hospital in gaza

it doesn’t seem like it’s the students of america who are ignorant of foreign policy or history—it’s our politicians

Great image but stripped of all Palestinian imagery. The The New Yorker is happy to profit off the controversy while burying the purpose. Free Palestine.

let’s be very clear about what’s going on in this cover because I think it so aptly captures the incredibly subtle and strategic reactionary politics of the The New Yorker ⬇️

Rafah and Karem Abu Salem Crossings have been closed for a couple of days.

No fuel, food, medicine or aid is entering Gaza.

Gaza is running out of food.

Two years ago Israeli forces killed Shireen Abu Akleh while she was out reporting from Jenin refugee camp. Two years of no justice and no accountability. Instead the bodies of journalists has only piled up— with over 140 media workers killed since October 7.

reminder that the abductees are citizens who were still in their homes, or were seeking shelter in hospitals, or were just healthcare workers doing their jobs.

The tide is turning in almost every pro Israel country. People everywhere are trying to figure out what is the minimum they can say or do to not be accused of being complicit in genocide. Don't let them off the hook.

Frantz Fanon: 'For a colonized people, the most essential value, because the most concrete, is first and foremost the land: the land which will bring them bread and, above all, dignity.'

The settler has no regard for the land. The settler lays everything to waste.

when you oppose the mining of metals like cobalt and coltan in the drc you are also opposing the construction and utilization of bombs and other weaponry. liberation for congo means an end to warfare as we know it.
