Plastics often find their way into our oceans and waterways, where they pose a grave danger to entire ecosystems. Disposal only compounds the issue, as many plastics take centuries to decompose, and harm environment irreversibly.

Negotiations are underway for the third day of the fourth session of the INC-4. Meanwhile, members of civil society are demonstrating outside the venue, calling attention to the fact that plastic has become so widespread that it is even present in food.

This initiative encompasses seminars, training, research, and awareness activities on lead pollution in Bangladesh. Distinguished medical professionals from BSMMU, alongside Pure Earth's partner ESDO ESDO actively participated.
