Both machines complete final drives by year-end.

Railway minister Ashwini Vaishnaw (मोदी का परिवार) launched and inspected the carbody structure of the first Vande Bharat sleeper trainset at BEML. These AC trains will have 16 coaches (eleven 3-tier, four 2-tier, and one 1st class) and are designed to attain a max speed of 160 kmph in service.
