Thank you to Americana Corner , whose grant allowed us to conserve a ladies’ slipper that belonged to Martha Washington (1731-1802) who gifted it to Lady Mary Watts in 1789. Come view the slipper back on display in the McEntee Gallery on the 3rd floor of the Museum!
On July 4 at 11:30am, join the Lower Manhattan Historical Association for the annual Independence Day Parade, featuring the SRNY Color Guard (pictured here in 1912). Then head to Fraunces Tavern® Museum and enjoy a special Independence Day menu AND $1 Museum admission all day long!
