Academics declare that animals other than humans have conscious experience. Profound. We've had anticruelty laws for 200+ years. They don't apply to rocks. They apply to animals to whom we can be 'cruel.' And that means animals who are subjectively aware. sites.google.com/nyu.edu/nydecl…
