With several bills targeting immigrants and trans kids still waiting to be voted on and just hours remaining in the legislative session, groups including Georgia Youth Justice Coalition for Action, AdvancingJusticeATL, and Georgia Equality have gathered in front of the Georgia Capitol in protest of the measures.

IDRA and Georgia Youth Justice Coalition for Action oppose this bill & are deeply concerned lawmakers decided to fund a voucher scam, rather than fully funding our public schools.

As you can see, there are large swaths with little to no access to a private school (particularly given that these schools, unlike public schools, are not obligated to provide transport).
