Of course, the Steelers could always sign Harris to a new contract at the end of the 2024 season or place the franchise tag on him.

With the first of two picks on the 3rd round, Steelers take Michigan WR Roman Wilson, giving them a player who can help replace the loss of Diontae Johnson. Wilson (6-0, 180) ran a 4.39 at the combine and averaged 16.0 yards on 107 receptions with 20 touchdowns in four seasons.

Getting a center in the second round would make the top pick of Troy Fautanu even better, if that is possible. Steelers had Fautanu rated among the top 10 players in the draft and the second tackle behind Joe Alt.

Steelers aren't planning to trade up in the second round, but that doesn't mean they won't. They may have to if they want a starting-caliber center, and the target is WVU's Zach Frazier.

Steelers had Troy Fautanu rated among their top 10 players. If he were gone, they were going to take either Duke C Graham Barton or Oklahoma T Tyler Guyton at 20.

A lot of really high-end courses do this BEFORE a round because they don’t want your bad seedlings or crabgrass from other courses being dragged on their turf.
