It was an amazing experience to participate in the Molecular Hematopoiesis Workshop at #EHA2023 and present how we at @Hanssonlab are applying mass spectrometry-based proteomics to study fetal and adult hematopoiesis. Thanks again Britta Will,
Mick Milsom and the organizers.
Pleased to share our recent Journal of Biological Chemistry article describing the mechanism of UM171. I would like to thank all co-authors Zemaitis_K,sudip ghosh Hansson Lab at Lund Stem Cell Center

Why do some people develop #bonemarrow failure and cancers while others don't?
To answer this Lund Stem Cell Center researcher Jörg Cammenga and his team have been hard at work. In last week's #StemCellTalk he described how certain genetic mutations play a role.

How predicative are transcriptomes of cell fate choices?
This Science Magazine article suggests that transcriptomes have limited predictive power for developmental fates during hematopoiesis.
The highest predictive accuracy from RNA levels was 60% in vitro and 51% in vivo.
Privileged to attend the EMBO PTM course! 😊Thanks to the organizers, great speakers and fellow participants.🎉Hope to meet you all in the near future. EMBO Events, Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, #EMBOmodifications , #proteomics
