1/I agree with Cormac Moore that regardless of whether the official/public history is part of or separate from tie actual Legacy Act, both are intrinsically part of the legacy process.

This is very sad news indeed. Ray was a great scholar, great storyteller & a huge supporter of fledgling scholars. It was always a treat to catch up with him in recent years on my annual trip to Maynooth History He will be enormously missed.
