I’ve had a couple of conversations this week to spark this blog, and it’s about where #GloriouslyOrdinaryLives starts and grows from, where it takes it roots.
Musings on inclusion, on the concept of specialism and on the power of ‘what would it take’.

I’ve had such a lovely and hugely emotional week. I’ve been in Newcastle for the 40th birthday party of Skills for People an organisation that I worked at for ten years and which probably saved my life.

Last year, I saw someone being supported in a way that really didn’t seem to work for him.
This was the catalyst for Test Three of #GloriouslyOrdinaryLives - Would it make a great photo? What would the photo tell us?
Here are my thoughts⬇️

This week's blog is basically a rant, for which I apologise, sort of.
It’s all about a place we call home.

Test Five of #GloriouslyOrdinaryLives reminds us that even if we have the support we need to get out of bed, we still all need a reason to get up in the morning.
Doing the things that matter to us and that make us matter.
What gets you out of bed in the morning?
This week, Test Five of Gloriously Ordinary Lives launched!
I’d love for you to use #GloriouslyOrdinaryLives and share - what makes you get out of bed in the morning?
