Dr Saia Ma’u Piukala, proposed by Tonga, has been nominated as the next World Health Organization (WHO) Regional Director for the Western Pacific. Member States voted to nominate Dr Piukala during the 74th session of the WHO Regional Committee for the Western Pacific #RCM74 .
