Spring runoff has begun in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains in New Mexico. Even warmer weather over the next few days will quickly cause more snow to melt.

It's not unusual to still see freezing temperatures in the ABQ Metro this time of year. Parts of the Metro don't see their average last freeze until the middle/end of April. For some in southern New Mexico, it's March, and not until June for some mountain towns. KRQE News 13

Peak partial solar eclipse for Albuquerque will be at 12:30 PM today. The moon will cover about 75% of the sun. You won’t notice much of a difference, but take a look at shadows being cast on the ground! Clouds are also going to be an issue today.
