The final experimental chapter of my PhD is now published in Journal of Physiology. Special thanks to coauthors Greg Pearcey Alessandro Del Vecchio Sean Horan and Justin Kavanagh. An awesome result to round out the thesis, which has been submitted for examination 🎉
New motor unit data from our lab! Amazing work by Benjamin Goodlich who evaluated self-sustained firing in humans. Congratulations! Greg Pearcey Alessandro Del Vecchio Journal of Physiology physoc.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.11…
New work from Matheus Machado Gomes, Sophie Jenz, James (Drew) Beauchamp, Franky Black, CJ, and I. Probing the competing effects of inhibition and excitation via co-contraction, we found that the motor unit output to achieve the same global EMG was different than during an isometric effort
Thanks (?) Kaitlyn Sutton for being the highest bidder at our annual “pie your prof” fundraiser and taking the opportunity to get me good… It was a great time 😑
