One of my favourite evenings of the year last night at the Bedford Independent everyday heroes awards . HEART Academies Trust have sponsored the young carer award again and I had the privilege to award the prizes. It was also amazing to see Faye McKinney winning an award.

A fascinating afternoon with Rising Stars across HEART Academies Trust and local schools exploring the concepts of continuity, change, affect and effect and why change occurs over time. This led into discovering the development of maths which led to the later development of computing.

Our incredible duo. Talent, commitment and confidence displayed at the House of Commons last night. Taking part in the Police and Crime Commisoner School's Debate Finals they did Bedford Academy proud, supported by their amazing peers! Excellent runners up against fierce teams.
