The event served as a warm welcome to Hon. Phiona Nyamutoro, our new Minister of State for Mineral Development.

The meeting sparked productive discussions to propel Uganda's oil and sector forward.

This evening Uganda Chamber of Mines & Petroleum team met Ruth Nankabirwa Ssentamu and her technical team to discuss various matters concerning Uganda's extractive sector.UCMP and Ministry of Energy Uganda work together on various sector initiatives that align with both private sector needs and government development plans.

EACOP Fact: The design & construction of the pipeline will be carried out in accordance with international standards including pressure testing with water prior to introducing oil and installation of block valves to be able to close and isolate sections of the pipe. #SupportEACOP

We stand with EACOP just like every Ugandan should. This project is an integral part of Uganda's energy transition to deal with energy poverty in the populace.

We are thrilled to announce the grant of a 21-year Large-Scale Mining License LML0344 to Sunbird Resources Limited, marking a pivotal moment in Uganda's mining sector. The license empowers Sunbird to mine 8000 tonnes per day of vital limestone at Rupa Sub-county, Moroto District.
