🚑 & ED colleagues... How do your ED manage the triage/priority of ambulances waiting to offload?

Majority of the time, unless pre alerted its literally just a case of next in line from what I've seen... Seems pretty counter intuitive and poor from a patient safety point of view

Half way point for our 3rd year paramedic students from University of Hull Hull Health Sciences who are on a 2 week placement to gain real life experience of 999 incidents and when they work with partner agencies such as us.
