Sunday morning just after midnight we had a fantastic live video conference with 2 friends on the ISS, Christina H Koch and Luca Parmitano
ISS - South Pole, how cool is that :)

getting really bright here, going too fast, but a couple of days we had some super bright auroras, exposures are only 0.4s at f2.8, iso3200

where is the sky and the stars, I only see auroras ;)

just now, nice clear afternoon with -72.2°C :) (ambient)

Another storm passed (not an aurora storm but a snow storm) and clear skies today, the last real dark 10 days at Pole, after the next moon period twilight will be quite obvious :(

July 20 1969 at 20:17 UTC the Eagle landed on the moon, this picture is taken on the minute exactly 50 years later.

Unfortunately the wind picked up and the moon wasn't clear behind the blowing snow.
