Hard to know what to say or where to begin. Benjamin Zephaniah has travelled with me throughout my career as an educator, a guiding light and giant for Black Britain, all Britain, all of us. Prayers and thoughts with his family. He leaves a legacy that will never fade.

My heart is genuinely heavy. May we all have the courage to live life as boldly and bravely as he did. Rest In Peace Benjamin Zephaniah.
