The cost for drone operation was quite high, but justified as innovative projects when implemented for the first time are always the most costly. Use of drones leads to efficient sputum sample transportation leading to faster diagnosis & faster treatment of TB in the communities.

Our health economist Anchal sharing the study findings of the Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene and NIHR Global Health funded DronEconomics project. The study delved into the economies of medical drone operation, using a case study of #BNMT 's pioneer DrOTS project.

Mr. Dipendra Pandey, DPC, sharing preliminary findings of TARGET TB project- which looked into #TB transmission patterns by whole genome sequencing of #TB isolates from Kathmandu, Pyuthan & Banke to aid in the development of impactful interventions for TB elimination in Nepal.

Funded by NHMRC in partnership with University of Melbourne Sarah Dunstan #BNMT successfully implemented TARGET TB project to understand #TB transmission dynamics in the context of rapid urbanization of Asia to optimally target interventions and accelerate the END-TB strategy in Nepal.

Through collaboration with University of Melbourne and support from John Burge Trust Fund State Trustees, #BNMT implemented TB Recovery project, providing 6 months of vital nutritional support to 200 families affected by #TB in Banke, Pyuthan, & Makwanpur of Nepal. #TB Nutrition #EndTB

Stop TB Partnership The Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene funded Transform TB project intends evaluate TB stigma-reduction video to assess the attitudes and perceptions of stakeholders on the video to refine and develop an appropriate message.

Through 'CHANGE TB,' #BNMT aims to understand TB-related #stigma through a gender lens and establish a robust, empowered, & skilled network of community-based activists from key vulnerable populations and diverse cultural groups across three provinces of Nepal. Stop TB Partnership #EndTB

As #TB remains highly stigmatized @KritikaDixit, RM, introduces CHANGE TB funded by Stop TB Partnership. The project adopts intersectional approaches to empower communities in 3 provinces, enabling them to explore, challenge, and transform TB-related #stigma in Nepal. #AddressingStigma

NOURISH: Nutritional support for people affected by TB, was built on the TB RECOVERY project funded by John Burge Trust Fund, where #BNMT designed and piloted a nutritional support package for TB patients. #NOURISH #TBRecovery #NutritionalSupport #ENDTB

The NOURISH project aims to deliver an evidence informed, locally appropriate intervention to support nutrition and accelerate recovery for TB affected households in Nepal.
