Meet the IPE Office Staff! Today's highlight is Kendall Norcross! She is a 2nd year OTD student who will be starting her first Level II Clinical Rotation at Encompass Rehab in Albuquerque this May! We'll be sad to see her go but know Kendall will do great things!

This program is designed for students wanting a strong clinical background in human genetic testing. Molecular pathology takes a molecular and genetic approach to the study and diagnosis of inherited diseases, infectious diseases, and cancer. #IPE #MolecularPathology

Mental Health Counselors provide treatment through a range of activities inclining individual & group counseling. Working with an interprofessional team they coordinate care to develop strategies to help clients return to optimal functioning & live as independently as possible

Meet the IPE Office Staff! Today's highlight is Yamilet Arellano. She is a 2nd year OTD student who will be starting her first Level II Clinical Rotation at UMC Team Rehab this May. We are going to miss her, but she will be back as a Capstone Student in Spring 2025!

This graduate program’s mission is to create and disperse knowledge through world-class, integrated, and multidisciplinary biomedical and pharmaceutical research. The department is committed to cross-department, school, and university collaboration and mentoring of faculty.

Students in #Lubbock recently participated in Office of Interprofessional Education Disaster Day, a student-led interprofessional emergency response simulation. Student teams came together to diagnose, treat and care for volunteers role-playing as patients and populations affected by a natural disaster.

Medical laboratory scientists perform routine & complex tests that help physicians diagnose & treat patients. As a #MLS you'll work closely with physicians, researchers and other professionals in disease investigation, consultation, and interpretation of laboratory results #IPE

#DisasterDay is an immersive mass causality simulation. Students diagnose, treat, and care for
standardized patients affected by simulated natural disasters. Amarillo students worked with
Texas Tech School of Veterinary Medicine to manage a wildfire while Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center students responded to a tornado event #IPE

Meet the IPE Office Staff! Today’s highlight is Jessica Fahsholtz! She is a third year OTD student
completing her Capstone Project on promoting interprofessional education on Sexuality and Intimacy as a health factor.

Addiction Counseling employs a range of skills in order help patients overcome substance abuse disorders and unhealthy dependencies. Counselors work in facilities that involve interprofessional relationships with other health care providers.

#SLPs specialize in the prevention, identification, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of swallowing, speech, and communication disorders across the lifespan. The SLP program has many interprofessional opportunities during clinic services for adults & children. #TTUHSC
