It is with great sadness the family of John Pilger announce he died yesterday 30 December 2023 in London aged 84. His journalism and documentaries were celebrated around the world, but to his family he was simply the most amazing and loved Dad, Grandad and partner. Rest In Peace.

Dear friend John Pilger (1939-2023) left us behind. A tremendous journalist, brave & honest. We had Wilfred Burchett (1911-1983) in common. Both visionary Australians who hated war & loved people. In the last period, John wrote for Globetrotter. I miss you already, dear John.

Repatriation exercises underway with Historic Ghana Railways Locomotives and Coaches to Northern Ghana. The Coast Coast railways was built in the late 19th century basically for commodity exploitation but how do we as a generation use the residues to build new memories? #art
