Every year the Gr. 6 students at St.Cecilia research global issues & choose a cause that they would like to support for our Lenten project. This year the students have decided to help by supporting World Vision's chick project. You can learn more by visiting School Cash Online!

For the past 6 years this government has undermined and underfunded our education system, causing the teacher shortage we are facing today.

What we need now is a plan from this government on how they will fix the damage they have caused.

The teacher shortage is a mess of the government’s own making.

The Minister needs to sit down with teachers and education workers, listen to them, and implement solutions in consultation with them, instead of making announcements without talking to anyone.

The teacher shortage did not happen overnight. It is a result of the government's continuous underfunding and mistreatment of teachers.

This government needs to make meaningful investments to our education system so that kids can learn from caring and qualified adults.
