I haven’t had a good month, money-wise,at TT so far - I haven’t made the rent yet ( let’s skip over the fact I haven’t had a wage for five years 😆- I know, it’s my bad!) but if you could retweet my online shop I’d be every so grateful! I’ll link it in the comments. Thank you! 🙏🏻

Raymond Chandler (1888-1959) made detective fiction into a literary form.

He worked hard on his throwaway remarks, keeping lists of sharp comparisons, similes and gags.

A good 3 A.M. poem, the waste of particulars, a life of unrelatable episodes, but the radical other addressed so resolutely and ingeniousby Meister Eckhart is out there in the mix; we keep stumbling on the various truths of experience that keep us from broken sleep.

Wtf: just got my ass handed to me at Scrabble. 16 yr old son got 227…me (with a PhD in English) 87. Second place was my 11 yr old daughter with 116. I came 4th. This is supposed to be one of those “I’m so proud moments,” right?

Mountains never look high enough in your photos of them! This is Mt Teine, Hokkaido, and the suburb below it the setting of novel no.3

As an ardent rugby lover, I don’t normally go in for the spherical ball stuff — but the Fifa Women’s World Cup this thoroughly entertaining! Good luck England — shame you‘re not playing Japan (it’s easier to see stuff over here when a Japanese team is performing well).
