In a former life, I helped build the Twitch video CDN. When I hear about Twitch challengers, I still can't help but look at how they are serving video. Today's entrant: Kick.com. This was an easy one: they use AWS IVS. IVS is the Twitch video system wrapped in AWS APIs.

ostonox Is having an idea innovation? Or is executing it innovation? It's pretty easy to make yourself better than Twitch by just telling everyone what they want to hear, but the reality is, this is an incredibly complex problem to solve (Twitch has tried for years).
