Conference speakers, if your timeslot is over, don't continue talking. Definitely don't say you know you're over time and continue talking. Thanks on behalf of the speaker after you, who also deserves time to prepare and the audience who wants to walk to the next session.

Unfortunately, my session proposals for dev2next are declined. But it was awesome to see that even the declines were sent quickly after the CFP closed. Even better, they provided personal feedback for each declined session. Never seen this before. Have a great conference!

Wow this has got to be one of the most annoying forms ever. The country I already added in one of the previous screens. Please conferences, test the forms you're enforcing on your attendees and speakers.

Came across the JVMCON after movie. Then fount out that the JVMCON domains are available, so registered them. Not sure yet what to do with it, but the previous edition was a blast!

Kom op NS online als er een storing is bij Schiphol geef dan fatsoenlijk de opties aan of regel bussen. Voor mij was het al puzzelen, laat staan voor toeristen. Zeggen dat er tot 6u morgenvroeg geen treinen rijden is wel erg makkelijk.

On my way to Voxxed Days CERN (22 - 23 January 2024), first 15 min by car, then 2 hours by train, now waiting for a 1,5 hour flight and then walking to the hotel. I should have used my bike for some part as well 😃.
