Both Acacia fiber and Bifidobacterium Lactis (BLa80) ⬆️ stool frequency in constipation-predominant irritable bowel syndrome. Only the probiotic significantly improved symptoms.

Almost 50% of patients with diabetic gastroenteropathy have small intestinal bacterial overgrowth diagnosed on intestinal aspirate. was not associated with gastric emptying abnormalities.
