Couple throws from Cooper Stearnes (Coop) tonight during his bullpen with his pitching coach, Josh. Still amazed at what he’s been able to do with Coop in 4-4.5 months teaching him how to pitch properly. Still more work to be done, but he’s getting dialed in. #RareBreed

Another then and now video, this time of Cooper Stearnes (Coop) pitching. First video is prior to any sort of training a couple years ago. The others are from this past season early on when he was asked to fill innings to now working with Josh. #RareBreed

While we are posting videos, I thought I might share this gem from one of the practices from this past season. If Cooper Stearnes (Coop) managed to strike out Coach Bryce the team didn't have to run poles after practice for like 2 weeks. Josh, I bet Bryce wants to online.

Cooper Stearnes (Coop) got an extra pen in with Coach Josh since we had to go to Springfield. Still amazed at his progress in the 4 months he’s been pitching. Was 69mph in August, 2.5 months in, sitting around 75mph now. Still work to be done. #RareBreed #MidlandBaseball

Cooper Stearnes (Coop) working with Josh tonight on pitching. He’s about 2.5-3 months in pitching and still has a ways to go, but he’s doing pretty good IMO. He’s still learning good mechanics and thanks to Coach Josh he’s came a LONG way already. Coop said these were sinkers.
