Yesterday The Scotsman. A word to unionists enjoying current SNP travails: if you want to save the Union in the long-term, insulting & patronising Scots who continue to support independence won't do it. Better to consider their reasons, and act on them. scotsman.com/news/opinion/c…
Farrukh Angela Richardson's reaction speaks volumes! Gardiner hits back, advocating for universal benefits to reduce stigma and change lives. #PolicyDebate #FreeSchoolMeals

Paul Hutcheon Not wrong there...it's also undemocratic. It's either a voluntary union, or it isn't. If it is, then its terms can be democratically scrutinised. Deny that scrutiny, (and self-government while you're at it), and you deny democracy and the terms of the Union itself.

joycemcmillan Malcolm Chisholm The Scotsman Well done joycemcmillan, the media also has a vital part to play in stimulating constructive debate. This James Hutton Institute report is startling evidence of Scotland's accelerating climate change, and its economic impact. Why are politicians not acting? hutton.ac.uk/news/scotland%…
joycemcmillan Malcolm Chisholm The Scotsman James Hutton Institute The hugely frustrating reality is that co-ordinated, constructive, cross-party action on climate change would benefit our health, agriculture, economy, democracy as well as environment. I'm looking out at saturated farmland untilled, unplanted. What hope for 2024 harvests?
