Cowser was the fifth overall pick in 2021 and certainly highly regarded, but he was a second-tier prospect relative to the rest of Baltimore's filthy farm system. He has 10 RBIs in this series.

Jackson Holliday promotion has me thinking about best prospects to make debuts vs. Red Sox. Alex Rodriguez (1994) and Wander Franco (2021) spring to mind. Also Yount (1974), Guidry (1975), Trammell and Whitaker (same day in 1977, naturally). Rocco Baldelli in 2003, too.
