Dead herring gulls and Kittiwakes found several places in Vardø, NE Norway, today. #avianflu confirmed. This is hard for both species which after a decade with breeding failure and pop decline finally has a good chick production year #seabirds

We have seen 36 #bird species, including #ducks , #geese , #swans , #gulls , #bird sofprey, #jaegers , #loons , #shorebirds and #passerines !
