Finally we were able to get in touch with our staff inside Al-Shifa hospital this morning. The situation in the hospital keeps getting worse.

Medical staff in #Gaza are so inundated by the sheer mass of patients arriving that the surgical board used to keep track of the weeks upcoming surgeries has been wiped clean and replaced with these words:

So pleased to see this out and learn more about the importance of libraries for people experiencing homelessness. This is one of the many reasons libraries need to be well resourced and equipped to serve and support the breadth of public users.
