In fact, after reviewing the literature on #fear of crime, Henson & Reyns (2015) found sex/gender (i.e., being a woman/girl) may be “quite possibly the strongest & most widely accepted predictor of the fear of crime” (p. 95).

We need to talk about the gender - not just the race - of police violence. Police violence is gendered because men commit it, not women. Us men create hierarchies such as black/white, cop/criminal, and use violence to enforce it.

They all said the same thing: they were not concerned about consequences.

Weird. Cos in the UK we have the CSEW which does exactly that.
