The Actual Guy in this photo - which has become a shorthand for a stereotypically 'average' or 'not hot enough for modern standards' guy, used to voice complaints about women and their dating behavior - is a happily married father in real life.

You won’t find anyone more witheringly sexist about modern women’s behavior than me, but if the world you’ve got on offer is less appealing than living alone and not having kids, it’s actually your fault, not theirs.

It took about 100 years after women’s suffrage for the two major political parties in the US to become the men’s party and the women’s party.

This process of differentiation is still underway, and it might take a few more generations to fully settle.
