Being sick with Covid this week has challenged me to extend the same grace and compassion I offer others to myself. And I generally have sucked at it.

YES. Way too many of my friendships are with people who live so faaaaaaaaaar away. (🎵Doesn't anybody stay in one place anymore...🎵)

Sometimes the most radical thing I can do is give myself the gift of approaching even the most daunting day with a sense of ease and calm. 💜

I am three hours away from 72 precious hours of an EMPTY HOUSE.

That means three days with:
-NO whistling
-NO loud talking
-NO sounds of people chewing
-NO mama mama mama maMA MAMA

I'm so excited for the quiet.
