It's wonderful to be back with the SF Symphony in such a gorgeous #Strauss & #Ravel program! Really enjoying this collaboration and looking forward to the third concert tonight, also with one of my all time favorite pianists: @Tiberghien.

It was a truly memorable debut in my home town with the New York Philharmonic and Alice Sara Ott. I had an amazing time conducting #Webern , #Strauss , #Ravel and #Scriabin - can't wait to return to this great orchestra next year!

Seiji Ozawa has touched and inspired so many of us. It's very moving to be with his orchestra during this time of grief. We will hold a moment of silence during today's concert in his memory.

Great to be back with the Boston Symphony performing one of my favorite pieces: #Bartók 's opera 'Bluebeard's Castle'. I also can't wait to reunite with Alisa Weilerstein 🇺🇸🇮🇱🇺🇦 for #Haydn 's energetic C Major cello concerto.
