I forgot to tell my streetcar happy birthday this morning, so here are some of the many photos I’ve taken of her. (Yes, I think of the streetcar as living creature that I say hello to.)

Special Delivery! 🚧⚡️🚊

The 2nd of 5 Traction Power Substations (TPSS) is arriving Wed., 5/8 to 31st St. overnight.

Each TPSS sends power to the Overhead Catenary System poles which then power the #kcstreetcar via overhead wires.

New traffic signals are going up this week at the following intersections:
🚦Main St. & Warwick Trfwy.
🚦Brookside Blvd. & WB Ward Pkwy.

Follow posted detours / kcpolice instructions while crews are working.

808 is now safely inside the #kcstreetcar maintenance facility.

This will allow #kcstreetcars to turn around at the Main St. & Pershing Rd. intersection.
