Honors biology classes modeled the process of natural selection by using toothpicks to represent different colors of fish genes. Students completed an experiment to see which colors of fish survive the best in those different environments.

Genetics kids headed down to the creek to get their own lab supplies! We’re studying stem cells/regeneration. Students went to the creek, turned over rocks & found their own planaria to work with for their lab. These small flat worms are filled with stem cells! 😎Olathe South HS
