Neil Flanigan MBE, has passed away, at 99 years old. We interviewed him in 2019 for our film.

Neil was the 39th person from Jamaica to volunteer for the RAF. He trained as ground crew & worked on aircraft taking part in Operation Market-Garden. He'll be much missed. RIP Neil.

We're sad to hear John Bell has passed away.

We interviewed John in 2018 & he described dropping a Tallboy bomb on the V2 bunker at Wizernes, France.

“I watched it all the way down ... [it] suddenly exploded alongside the dome ... and I shouted out BULLSEYE!”

Hugely, hugely sad news about the passing of Frank Borman, who commanded Apollo 8, the first human mission to the Moon. We worked with him several times & he was direct, clever, grounded & very, very funny. Here he is, talking about his friend Neil Armstrong.

60 years ago, #NASA test pilot Joe Walker flew the X-15 to 107.96km above sea level.

This was the first time in history that a reusable crewed spacecraft had made a second trip across the 'Kármán line' - the 100km threshold for the edge of space recognised by the United Nations.
