FNU Graduation held in Labasa on 24th of April 2024, saw 134 students in Labasa graduating from their field of study. Minister Filimoni Vosarogo was the chief guest.

A Development Minerals Forum was held in Zambia, South Central Africa from 15 -17th April 2024. There was exchanged knowledge-sharing in sustainable and inclusive mining practices in artisanal and small-scale mining and processing of Development Minerals.

A specialized training was done from April 15-19. The training focused on (1) how to assess exploration proposals and monitor exploration programs, and (2) mine closures, tailings management, rehabilitation, and post-mine land use.
