As the Atlanta Police Department begins loading arrestees into transport vans, a growing crowd is chanting “protest is not a crime” and “every city is cop city.”

atlanta police have fired pepper balls, arrested faculty, and tased a student at emory campus. walk out of class, stop what you are doing, and get down there to the quad near the carlos museum. no genocide in gaza, no cop city!

after setting up a peaceful encampment this morning, students are being violently arrested at Emory University. they are being held down and tased. tear-gassed. shot at with rubber bullets.

It’s worth reminding those critical of the student protests raging across the US: Gaza no longer has universities. Every single university in Gaza has been bombed into oblivion. Hundreds of academics, scholars, professors, & students have been killed since Oct. 7. #scholasticide
