Wonderful day reconnecting with our Seen & Heard family at Craigmillar Now as we explore art & music in a series of workshops with artist Karolina Glusiec and Scottish Chamber Orchestra Su-a Lee & Lewis Banks 🎨 🎶 Lots of creative ideas flowing already!

Fantastic to have our saxophone tutor Lewis Banks lead a workshop for our woodwind students today! What a great week of music making it has been!
It was so much fun to play my album ‘Chrysalis’ live Royal Conservatoire of Scotland last year, and work with the talented saxophone students afterwards.
For some extra fun at the end, I threw in a bit of folky madness from Will Gregory of Goldfrapp. Enjoy! :)
Another recommendation - Schubert in English Vol. 4 on Signum Classics, with the incredible trio of Roderick Williams, Rowan Pierce and Chris Glynn
A stunning standalone listening experience, but also a real gateway into the original text versions. Highly recommended
Some recommendations to start 2024, which I've been enjoying very much
Book - 'Quartet' by Dr Leah Broad. An illuminating portrait of 4 incredible women whose music (to my shame, previously unknown to me) I enjoyed checking out whilst reading the book. Highly recommended!
I've enjoyed many of Alexandra Wilson 's articles, but I highly recommend this one
