Why 'Humbug Designs'...?

We moved to the Forest of Dean 8 years ago, drawn by its woodlands and wildlife - our particular favourites are the wild boar.

Their stripey young are known as 'humbugs', and as I have my own small children, the name Humbug Designs was born!

Unexpected after-school outing today to spot this little beauty just down the road from us! First #waxwing I’ve seen in over 10 years - what a stunning bird 👍😁

Humbug Designs is back online after the Christmas break! I’ve got linocut prints, zipped pouches and reusable cloths/kitchen roll available, and plans for lots more nature-themed and planet-friendly products to come 😊🌿 I’ve also gained a new little helper (or distraction)! 🥰🤣

My reusable crackers have now sold out & are on their way to their new home! 😁There’s still time to order prints & other gifts from me before Christmas, but you’ll have to hurry - last day to order is TOMORROW (Tuesday 19th), before I put my shop in holiday mode over Christmas

Most of my art is inspired by the natural world, particularly around my home in the #ForestofDean . I’ve just sent one of my bracken prints to a customer - it was inspired by the bracken that grows everywhere here & the amazing patterns it creates! 🌿
