The ONLY argument MAPs ever give for their existence is that doctors have rotational training.
Let me say this clearly:
No Dr wants to move job and location every 3-4 months for a decade of their life. They are forced to by NHS England Workforce, Training and Education who have no regard for their wellbeing. 1/2
A strong & timely statement from The Royal College of Surgeons of England 🙏
Furthermore this episode demonstrates perfectly why scope of practice cannot and must not be set locally!
Here's something you don't see every day: an epidermal inclusion cyst growing into brain tissue. #pathology #neuropathology #PathTwitter
Just added brand new post mortem CT (PMCT) resources and case discussions to the Pathology Portal. Great for trainees preparing for the CHAT exam.
From Theo Estrin-Serlui and Michael Johnstone.
More cases to follow!

ASiT The Royal College of Surgeons of England The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Glasgow RCSI GMC JCST CoPSS NHS England Workforce, Training and Education The principles of surgery and its dignity as a profession are universal and are not things to be discarded because of logistical issues in any one hospital or country.
I could go on. But this is about much more than gallbladders. Nice statement by ASiT.
Hello, friends!
I want to share resources that I used during my pathology observerships. I think it could be helpful for those who do not know where to start (it was me!) and want to get a basic understanding.
Please share your resources as well!
